CLASS OF 2008-2009






Jennifer LaFalce, MS, ATC

Jennifer comes to the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic from Boston, where she served as an athletic trainer at MIT and an academic instructor in Boston University's athletic training program. Previous research and academic presentations have included topics surrounding lower extremity balance, muscular function, and biomechanics. Jennifer enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, rafting, and biking, spending time with friends, and cooking.




Angela West, MA, ATC

Angie West was born and raised in a small town in northeastern Oregon. She attended Washington State University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. After graduation Angie moved across the country to attend graduate school at the University of Connecticut while working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at a local high school. Angie is looking forward to taking advantage of all of the outdoor sports opportunities that Colorado has to offer.




Diana Angi, ATC

Diana Angi comes to Vail from Columbia University in New York, NY, where she served as an assistant athletic trainer for the past three years. Her primary sports at Columbia were men’s baseball and women's soccer, the 2008 and 2006 Ivy League Champions, respectively. A 2005 graduate of Northeastern University, Diana loves to ski and hopes to take full advantage of living in the mountains. Her other interests include running, soccer and nutrition.




Leah Dvorkin, ATC

Leah graduated from the University of Michigan in April 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. She was a Student Athletic Trainer for Michigan's Big Ten football program during the 2006 season and at the Alamo Bowl. She held clinical internships with Chelsea Orthopedic Specialists in Chelsea, Michigan and with East Stadium Physical Therapy in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In 2007, Leah represented Michigan's school of Kinesiology at a Global Athletic Training Seminar in Beijing, China as a guest lecturer at various sport universities and furthered her knowledge in eastern training modalities. Leah was born and raised in Danbury, Connecticut. An avid skier, Leah is excited about the upcoming ski season and is hoping to learn how to mountain bike and rock climb during her free time in Colorado.




Adam C. Cady, ATC, CSCS, CST

Adam grew up in Portland, Oregon. After High School he served five years in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman specializing in surgical assisting. Upon being honorably discharged in 2004 he worked at a level 1 trauma hospital in San Diego, CA as a Surgical Technologist. He then went on to California State University-Fullerton and completed a B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training. During his time at Fullerton he was the lead Athletic Training Student for the baseball team. Before moving to Colorado Adam spent time in Australia serving as a medical delegate for the International Scholar Laureate Program. In his spare time he enjoys, reading, movies, and exercising.
